Frequently asked questions

How do I copy all my open browser tab URLs at once?
Install Safe Tab URL Lister, click the extension icon, and press Copy. All tab URLs from the current window are on your clipboard immediately — the same way in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
Can I export browser tabs as Markdown links?
Yes. Select "Markdown" from the format dropdown. The output will be [Page Title](URL) entries, one per tab, ready to paste into Obsidian, Notion, GitHub, or any Markdown editor. "Markdown list" gives the same links as a bullet list with any extra fields as sub-bullets.
Is there a browser extension that exports tabs as JSON, CSV, or TSV?
Yes. Select JSON, CSV, or TSV. Each always includes a url field — check "Titles," "Index," "IDs," "Group," or "Accessed" to add more fields to every row.
Does this extension send my data anywhere?
No. There are zero network requests. Your URLs never leave your device.
Can I export tabs from all open windows at once?
Yes. Enable the "Include all windows" checkbox to collect tabs from every open window at once, grouped into a section per window (incognito windows are flagged).
Does it work offline?
Yes, completely. No external services required.
